  • Some of the stages that need inspection and or testing stages are:
    • Steelmaking for pipes

    • Dig-up inspection, hot tapping witnessing, general condition survey
    • Witnessing in-situ chemical analysis by portable O.E.S. spectroscopy, lamination testing and hardness
    • Review of replication microscopy results
    • WPS/PQR review, witnessing of welder qualification and associated testing
    • Repair activity witnessing
    • Visual inspection of the completed weld and witnessing NDT
    • Coating inspection and final acceptance inspection.
  • Pipeline decommissioning & recommissioning inspection
    • General visual inspection, coating and condition assessment documenting before decommissioning
    • Condition and integrity assessment before recommissioning.
